Presentazione progetto
Intreccio. Tra la voce di Grazia Di Grace e quella di Lester Young. Senza tralasciare Teddy Wilson, Billie Holiday e altri grandi musicisti americani che hanno lasciato un segno nella musica jazz degli anni trenta quaranta e cinquanta. Un repertorio selezionato e riarrangiato per trio (voce, pianoforte e contrabbasso), con alcune composizioni e testi originali.
Il progetto si propone come mezzo espressivo autentico e sincero, mosso da una ricerca vocale e musicale personale e profonda, che si riconosce e si ispira alla musica e all’attitudine del sassofonista di Kansas City: “Lester Young played the way he was”
